How to play learning videos and how your progress is saved

Videos in courses
Many courses in LernCampus24 contain learning videos. These play directly inside the lesson, so you do not need to leave the platform.
Video player functions
Basic controls
| Element | Function |

| Play/Pause | Start or pause video |
| Progress bar | Jump to a specific position |
| Volume | Adjust or mute sound |
| Full screen | View video in full-screen mode |
| Speed | Change playback speed |
Playback speed
You can adjust the speed:
- 0.5x - Slower for complex content
- 1x - Normal speed
- 1.25x - Slightly faster
- 1.5x - Faster
- 2x - Double speed
How to change speed:
- Click the gear icon in the player
- Select “Speed”
- Choose your desired speed
Quality settings
For videos with multiple quality levels:
- Click the gear icon
- Select “Quality”
- Choose the desired resolution, for example 720p or 1080p
Tip: If your internet connection is slow, choose a lower quality.
Progress is saved
Automatic saving
Your video progress is saved automatically:
- Current position: Where you currently are
- Furthest position: How far you have watched at most
- Completion status: Whether you finished the video
Where you stopped
When you leave a video and return later:
- The video starts at your last position
- You see a message: “Continue at XX:XX?”
- Click “Continue” or “Start from beginning”
Mark video as completed
A video counts as completed when you:
- Watch the video to the end
- Or have watched at least 90% of the video
Completion is included in course progress.
Tips for videos
Optimal playback
- Stable internet connection: For uninterrupted playback
- Headphones: For better audio quality
- Quiet environment: Less distraction
Effective learning with videos
- Take notes: Write down important points during the video
- Pause: Pause and think during complex topics
- Review: Watch important sections again
- Adjust speed: Faster for familiar content, slower for new content
Problems with videos?
If videos do not load or stop:
- Reload page: Press F5
- Reduce quality: Choose a lower resolution
- Check browser: Use a current browser
- Internet connection: Check your connection
