Change your password regularly for better security. You can change your password yourself at any time.

Change password in profile

Step by step

  1. Click your name in the top right
  2. Select “Profile” or “Settings”
  3. Go to “Security” or “Password”
  4. Enter your current password
  5. Enter your new password
  6. Confirm the new password
  7. Click “Change password”

Password requirements

Your new password must meet:

Uppercase lettersAt least 1
Lowercase lettersAt least 1
NumbersAt least 1
Special charactersRecommended (for example !@#$%^&*)

Create strong passwords

Good examples:

  • Summer2025!Berlin
  • MyDog#Bello99
  • C0ffee&Cake

Bad examples:

  • password123 (too simple)
  • 12345678 (numbers only)
  • qwerty (keyboard pattern)

After the change

What happens?

  • Your old password is invalid immediately
  • You remain logged in in the current session
  • Other sessions are logged out
  • Next login: use the new password

Confirmation email

You receive an email confirming that your password was changed.

Important: If you receive this email but did not change your password, contact your administrator immediately.

Forgot password?

If you do not know your current password:

  1. Log out
  2. On the login page: click “Forgot password?”
  3. Follow the password reset process

Tips for secure passwords

Use a password manager

  • 1Password, Bitwarden, LastPass, or similar
  • Generate unique, strong passwords
  • You only need to remember one master password

Change regularly

  • Change the password every 3-6 months
  • Change immediately if compromise is suspected
