How to configure the certificate feature for your company

Certificate settings

Configure whether and how certificates are issued in your LernCampus24 instance.

Open settings

  1. Go to Admin > Settings
  2. Select “Certificates”

Enable/disable certificates

Global activation

How to change the setting

  1. Click the toggle next to “Enable certificates”
  2. On = certificates are created
  3. Click “Save”

Certificate design

Company logo on certificates

The logo from the branding settings automatically appears on all certificates.

Tips for certificate logos:

  • High resolution: At least 300 DPI for print quality
  • Transparent background: Looks more professional
  • Not too large: The logo should not dominate the certificate

Customizable text

If available, you can customize the certificate text:

  1. Click “Edit text”
  2. Adjust the default text
  3. Click “Save”

Example texts

Default:

“This confirms that {Benutzername} has successfully completed the course {Kursname}.”

Customized:

“{Firmenname} confirms that {Benutzername} has successfully completed the training {Kursname} and demonstrated the relevant knowledge.”

Certificates per course

Course-specific settings

For some courses, you may not want certificates:

  1. Open the course in edit mode
  2. Go to “Settings”
  3. Disable “Issue certificate”

Example: A short introductory course may not need a certificate.

Certificate preview

Check before enabling

  1. Go to Settings > Certificates
  2. Click “Preview”
  3. View a sample certificate with your logo
  4. Check layout and appearance

Certificate download

Options for users

Users can:

  • View online: Open certificates in the browser
  • Download as PDF: For archiving or printing
  • Share: If enabled

Administrator access

As an administrator, you can:

  • View all issued certificates
  • Export certificates as CSV
  • Check certificates for individual users

Frequently asked questions

Can users download their certificate again?

Yes, certificates remain permanently available. Users can find them under “Certificates” at any time.

What happens if the name changes?

Certificates already issued keep the old name. New certificates use the current name.

Can certificates be revoked?

There is currently no revocation option. The certificate remains available even if the course is later deactivated.
