How to analyze the performance of your courses

Course analytics
The analytics area gives you detailed insight into the performance of your courses.
Open analytics
- Go to Admin > Analytics
- Select “Courses” or “Top courses”
Top courses overview
Sorting
You can sort top courses by:
| Criterion | Description |
|---|---|
| Enrollments | Number of assigned users |
| Completion rate | Percentage of users who completed the course |
| Activity | Learning activity in the last 30 days |
Metrics per course
For each course, you see:
- Course title: Name of the course
- Enrollments: Assigned users
- Completed: Number of completions
- Completion rate: Percentage
- Average duration: Time until completion
Course detail analysis
Analyze a single course
- Click a course in the list
- You see detailed statistics
Available data
| Metric | Description |
|---|---|
| Total enrollments | All users with access |
| Not started | Users who have not started yet |
| In progress | Users actively learning |
| Completed | Users with 100% progress |
| Average progress | Average value across all users |
Progress distribution
What does the distribution show?
A chart shows how progress is distributed:
0-25% ████████ 30%
26-50% ██████ 20%
51-75% ████ 15%
76-99% ████ 15%
100% ██████ 20%
Interpretation
| Distribution | Meaning | Action |
|---|---|---|
| Many at 0-25% | Users are not starting | Motivation, reminders |
| Many at 50% | Users drop off | Review course length |
| Many at 100% | High completion rate | Course works well |
Quiz results per course
If the course contains quizzes:
- Average score
- Pass rate
- Frequently missed questions

Activity over time
A chart shows course activity:
- New enrollments per day/week
- Completions per day/week
- Learning activity (viewed lessons)
Adjust time period
Select different periods:
- Last 7 days
- Last 30 days
- Last 90 days
- All time
Compare courses
Comparison view
- Select several courses
- Click “Compare”
- View the metrics side by side
