How to navigate through chapters and lessons in a course

Understand course structure

Courses in LernCampus24 are organized hierarchically:

Course
├── Chapter 1
│   ├── Lesson 1.1
│   ├── Lesson 1.2
│   └── Lesson 1.3

│   └── Lesson 2.2

The course view

On the left you will find the course sidebar with:

  • Course overview: Back to the course main page
  • Chapters: All chapters in the course
  • Lessons: Individual lessons under each chapter
  • Progress indicator: Check marks for completed lessons

Main area

The lesson content is displayed in the main area:

  • Text content: Learning material to read
  • Videos: Embedded learning videos
  • Images: Illustrations and graphics
  • Downloads: Additional materials to download

Forward and back

At the end of each lesson, you will find navigation buttons:

  • “Back”: To the previous lesson
  • “Next”: To the next lesson
  • “Mark as completed”: Manually complete the lesson

Via the sidebar

You can go directly to any lesson at any time:

  1. Click a chapter to expand it
  2. Click the desired lesson
  3. The content loads immediately

Keyboard navigation

For faster navigation:

Track progress

Completed lessons

Completed lessons are marked with:

  • Green check mark: Lesson fully completed
  • Progress bar: Shows overall progress in the chapter

Automatic marking

Lessons are automatically marked as completed when:

  • You have read the full text by scrolling to the end
  • You have watched a video completely
  • You have passed a quiz

Manual marking

If necessary, you can complete lessons manually:

  1. Scroll to the end of the lesson
  2. Click “Mark as completed”

Mobile navigation

On mobile devices:

  • The sidebar is collapsed by default
  • Tap the menu icon to open the chapter overview
  • Swipe left/right for navigation

Tips for effective learning

  1. Linear progress: Work through chapters in order
  2. Do not skip lessons: Important basics may be missing
  3. Take breaks: Split longer courses into several sessions
  4. Review: Use free navigation to revisit content
