Progress not saved?

Your learning progress should be saved automatically. If this does not work, these solutions can help.

Common causes

1. Leaving the page too quickly

Problem: You leave the lesson before progress could be saved.

Solution:

  • Wait a few seconds after completing a lesson
  • Watch for save messages such as “Progress saved”
  • Use the “Next” button instead of closing the browser

2. Internet connection interrupted

Problem: Without a connection, progress cannot be sent to the server.

Symptoms:

  • Offline icon in the browser
  • Error messages when saving
  • Progress disappeared after signing in again

Solution:

  • Make sure you have a stable internet connection
  • If there are connection problems: open the lesson again and complete it

3. Browser problems

Problem: Cache, cookies or extensions are interfering.

Solutions:

  1. Clear cache: Ctrl+Shift+Delete
  2. Allow cookies for this site
  3. Disable extensions (especially ad blockers)
  4. Use a different browser

4. Multiple tabs open

Problem: The same course is open in several browser tabs.

Symptom: Progress is overwritten or mixed up.

Solution:

  • Keep only one tab open per course
  • Close other tabs with the same course

Video progress specifically

Video not marked as completed

Requirement: You must watch at least 90% of the video.

Tips:

  • Do not skip ahead too quickly
  • Watch to the end (do not close early)
  • If necessary: restart the video completely

Progress position not saved

If your position in the video is not saved:

  1. Make sure you have a stable connection
  2. Pause the video at the desired point
  3. Wait a few seconds before leaving the page

Mark lesson as completed

Mark manually

If automatic progress tracking does not work:

  1. Scroll to the end of the lesson
  2. Click “Mark as completed” (if available)
  3. The lesson is completed manually

No button available?

Manual marking is disabled in some courses. Contact your administrator.

Check progress

View current status

  1. Open the course
  2. Check the sidebar: green check mark = completed
  3. Or go to “My progress” in the dashboard

Report discrepancies

If your progress is incorrect:

  • Note which lessons you have completed
  • Take screenshots as evidence
  • Contact your administrator
