Why you may not see a course and how to get access

Course not visible?

Are you looking for a specific course but cannot find it? Here are the possible causes and solutions.

Common causes

1. Course not assigned

The most common cause: The course has not been assigned to you.

In LernCampus24, courses are assigned through groups, not directly to individual users.

Solution:

  • Ask your administrator
  • Ask to be added to the appropriate group

2. Filters active

Symptom: The course exists, but it is hidden by filters.

Check:

  1. Go to “Courses”
  2. Check the active filters (status, category)
  3. Select “All courses” or “All”

3. Course is in draft

Symptom: The administrator can see the course, but you cannot.

Cause: The course has not yet been published (status: draft).

Solution:

  • Wait until the administrator publishes the course
  • Ask for the expected publication date

4. Course was removed

Symptom: The course was visible before, but no longer is.

Possible causes:

  • Course was deleted
  • Course was withdrawn (set back to draft)
  • Your group membership changed

Solution: Contact your administrator

Search does not work

  1. Check the spelling of the course name
  2. Try partial terms or keywords
  3. Search for the instructor name or topic

Alternative: browse categories

If search does not help:

  1. Browse the categories manually
  2. Ask colleagues for the exact course name

A course was announced to me, but I cannot see it

  1. Refresh the page (F5)
  2. Log out and log back in

How to proceed

  1. Note the course name: Which course do you need?
  2. Reason: Why do you need this course?
  3. Contact administrator: By email or internal system
  4. Be patient: Assignment can take some time

Example message

“Hello,

I need access to the course ‘Data Protection Basics’ to complete the annual mandatory training.

Could you please add me to the appropriate group?

Thank you!”

Technical problems

Cache problems

If the course was recently assigned:

  1. Clear browser cache (Ctrl+Shift+Delete)
  2. Reload the page (F5)
  3. Test a different browser

Known delays

  • After group assignment: Can take a few minutes
  • After course publication: Refreshing may be required
  • With large groups: The system needs time for all assignments
