Fix video problems
If a video does not load or play, try these solutions.
Video does not load
Quick solutions
- Reload the page (F5)
- Wait a few seconds - the video may still be processing
- Check internet connection
Reduce quality
If available:
- Click the gear icon in the player
- Choose a lower quality (for example 480p instead of 1080p)
- Try playback again
Video stops / buffers constantly
Causes

| Slow internet | Frequent buffering |
| Overloaded network | Stops and starts |
| VPN active | Slow connection |
Solutions
- Pause other devices on the network (downloads, streaming)
- Disable VPN (if active)
- Reduce quality in the video player
- Try later when network load is high
- Use a wired connection instead of Wi-Fi
No sound
Checklist
- Volume turned up on the computer?
- Video not muted in the player?
- Headphones connected correctly?
- Browser tab not muted?
- Other applications have sound?
Solutions
- In the player: click the volume icon and check whether it is muted
- Right-click the browser tab > “Unmute site”
- Check system volume
- Test a different browser
Black screen / error message
”Video not available”
Possible causes:
- Video is still processing after upload
- Technical problem on the server
- Video was removed or changed
Solution: Wait a few minutes and try again. If the problem remains, contact your administrator.
Black screen
- Disable ad blockers for this site
- Disable hardware acceleration in the browser
- Update graphics drivers
- Test a different browser
Browser-specific problems
Chrome
- Go to Settings > Privacy and security
- Check “Autoplay” for this site
- Delete cache and cookies
Firefox
- Click the lock icon in the address bar
- Check permissions for media
- Disable tracking protection for this site
Safari
- Go to Safari > Settings > Websites
- Check “Auto-Play”
- Allow autoplay for this site
Mobile problems
On smartphone/tablet
